Being Faithful and thereby Knowing God

Due to his integrity the enemies of Daniel had a law established that would conflict following God and following the law of the land. What did Daniel do when confronted with laws which directly go against God's Word? Daniel harbored no anxiety and continued to do as he had always done. Daniel remained faithful.

Faith (in God) says that when everyone and everything around us says God is not present or caring, knowing his Word and his promises, you know that he IS present, he IS caring, he is working in your life.

Being faithful then is taking this knowledge and putting it into action. Knowing God is present and so speaking with him and waiting to hear. Know God cares and so meanwhile caring for others. Knowing God is working and so being an instrument through which his work can be done. Being faithful is continuing in knowing God.

Conduit of Grace

Reading in Daniel 2:31-45 the Lord helped me realize what Daniel had done. Here Daniel reveals to king Nebuchadnezzar a dream and its meaning which had troubled the king. All that Daniel told the king was all that Daniel had been shown by the LORD.

Question: Has the LORD given you something, which he designed to be given to others? Have you given it?

We are vessels through which our loving God pours out his blessings. Our blessings are intended to bless others as well. If we hold-on to what God has given us we are beginning to become a clogged vessel. The LORD will only allow us to have what we can manage (temptations & blessings - 1 Corinthians 10:13), only what will fit in the vessel. If you are holding on, let go. See as the Lord pours blessings into your life more than you can imagine. The more you let flow through, the more He will pour through. Only remember what clogged the vessel -- holding back one little thing at a time; over time you'll have nasty build-up. Let the Holy Spirit flow through you, as the cleansing water of the Word turn your life into a free-flowing Conduit of Grace.
